Sustainability at LABRANDA Bahía de Lobos

Committed to a better future in Corralejo, Fuerteventura

At LABRANDA Bahía de Lobos, we integrate sustainability into every aspect of our operations — from hotel management to the guest experience.

We are proud to be Travelife certified, an international recognition that validates our responsible practices in environmental protection, labour rights, and social engagement. Every step we take aims to build a more conscious tourism model, where people, nature and local communities are placed at the heart of what we do.

Environment

We actively manage natural resources to reduce our environmental impact.

We monitor water and energy consumption, implement waste reduction systems and apply measures to reduce emissions. We are also progressively eliminating single-use plastics and encouraging the protection of Fuerteventura’s unique biodiversity.

These initiatives not only preserve the environment but also help raise awareness among our guests.

People

Our team is the driving force behind everything we do.

We are committed to fair labour conditions, equity, and employee wellbeing. We promote a safe, inclusive working environment with equal opportunities, ongoing training, and personal development.

Diversity is a strength, and we believe in empowering people to make a positive difference both inside and outside the hotel.

Community

We support a tourism model that strengthens the local economy and fosters meaningful connections with the community.

We work with local suppliers, participate in social initiatives and encourage guests to engage with the culture and traditions of Corralejo and Fuerteventura.

Our aim is for our impact to extend beyond the stay — leaving a positive mark on both people and the place that welcomes us.
